Unknown (to me) notification icon

It's to the left of the Wi-Fi icon. It's a circle with dots on the top, left, and bottom; there's a crossed line in the circle and to the right are two arcs (like the wi-fi icon but vertical and smaller).

What is it?

the only thing i can think of is GPS. but i havn't seen a stock ROM in about 5 months so i could be wrong. if you could find a pic online somewhere it would help us out. but go into settings, location and security, and check to see if "Use GPS satellites" is checked...uncheck it and see if that gets rid of it.
