Samsung will now offer direct sales of their unlocked Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones in the United States. To be clear, this unlocked version of either device is compatible with all the US carriers. Here's a list of radio bands:
  • GSM: Band 2/4/5/8
  • UMTS: Band 1/2/4/5/8
  • CDMA 1x & EVDO: BC0, BC1, BC10
  • TD-SCDMA: Band 34/39
  • FDD-LTE: Band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/18/19/20/25/26/29/30
  • TDD-LTE: Band 38/39/40/41
The unlocked Galaxy S7 costs $669.99, and the unlocked Galaxy S7 Edge is $769.99. You can get them at Samsung’s online store, as well as on Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, Sam’s Club and Target.com.

Can I unlock the bootloader?
If so, it's about time Samsung joined the party.
This is the only way I would ever consider another Samsung device.

This is basicly just like the international version. It is SIM unlocked for use on any carrier. The bootloader remains locked...

Congrats markwebb! Let us know what you think once you get it all set up. [emoji106]
