Unlocking questions and SIM questions.

Hi. I have recently gotten my hands on a Droid Incredible 2, and I have factory reset it, and bypassed the activation screen. I was wondering if could unlock it for free somehow, so I could use it for my T-Mobile PrePaid SIM card. I am not a Verizon Wireless customer. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if it was unlocked, would my SIM work?

I actually didn't actually "figure it out". You see, my brother had the DI2 and was going to sell it to me, but he sold it to his friend instead. I just wanted to know some things before I bought it. Sorry. But I'm pretty sure it would work with a prepaid TMobile SIM if you unlock it. To get an unlock code, you'd have to buy one unless you were a Verizon Wireless customer(for 6 months) and you would be able to ask them for one. But by unlocking it, you void the warranty(I think).
