Unroot needed to complete phone trade?

I rooted my Droid 2 for wi-fi tethering purposes solely and tomorrow I will be trading my phone to someone for a HTC Incredible. Will restoring default settings unroot my phone?? I have to go through Verizon Customer Care to complete the transaction so I can continue my insurance... Any help would be appreciated!

If you used Z4 root just go to the app and click "unroot" should be good to go after that! If you used another method to root your phone someone with more experience would have to help you. Hope that helps! =)

I used the process from this link... there's an unroot.bat file in there, right?? I can't tell because I'm at a work terminal and can't access the files

Yeah, there's an unroot.bat and it will unroot the phone.

You could sbf and it will be as if brand new.
