Unsolvable copy/paste conundrum

Jorabi

ICS 4.0.4 on Droid RAZR MAXX

I have copied text that I wish to insert at the beginning of an existing line of text. If I long-click the point before the existing text, the entire first word is selected and, as is proper, pasting there will replace the word. How can I get the PASTE function to be available when the insertion point is simply the point before a word?

Welcome to DroidForums jorabi! I am thinking this should solve your problem. Place your cursor where you want to paste and there will be a pentagon shaped arrow under the cursor for a second. Touch that pentagon arrow and it will give you the option to paste.

DUH! You solved it. I had already tried that but I was LONG tapping the arrow! A simple tap reveals PASTE. Many thanks.

You are so welcome. And welcome to the "duh moments" club. I am a long standing member of that club and I contribute frequently... very proud of it (makes me human), lol!
