Turned on the phone last week and the Motorola logo appears with a red back ground. The screen dimmed out. Icons added on the bottom of the home screen. Am very annoyed. Doesn't offer to store pics on SD card. SD card wiped clean of anything I did have on it. Other phone features are not available. Nothing was added or downloaded. Any help for me?

That's the Gingerbread update. It's a good thing. Roll with it...

An OTA system update does not wipe out your SD card. If yours really is wiped out, something else did it.

Thanks ConqSoft, I took it to Verizon and they verified it's gingerbread. There's no way to revert to the former version. The lady at Verizon explained a few things and straightened me out on some of the issues I had. The SD card was NOT wiped and she made sure the recent pics I took were saved into the card. I played around with it since and am beginning to like it. Thank you for suggestions. dancedroid
