Update and forever root?

Now that I've waited for update to root, am I good to go to forever root? Am I going to be able to dl future updates with forever root? I think I have link bookmarked to forever root but if not will someone post? Thanx

I to am ready to try and root my phone but with so many posts and links it's hard to tell what one is the correct exploit to use that will maintain root after the update.
It would be helpful if someone could post a link to point us newbes in the right direction.

I've used this to restore a soft-bricked Bionic and then to root it and install forever root.

dlan did you update 1st then root and if you did what method did you do?ppl saying cant 43v3r root after update?thanx

Used R3l3AS3DRoot to get back to stock from Liberty3 with Forever Root and then updated. Worked like a charm.

Used the forever root first then the update.

The phone all around seems better, I love how quick the camera is. i now like the stock cam better than FX

ok I have superuser...I went to this and downloaded latest drivers http://www.motorola.com/consumers/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=bda09ec8009a0210VgnVCM1000008806b00aRCRD and used above link and step 2,kept my update also!

b4 I downloaded latest drivers the 43v3r root would not start
