This might sound really absurd but there is about a 1/2inch section on my touch screen that is dead. Just a strip about an inch from the top doesn't respond to any touch. Of course this happens to fall right on the part of the Play Store where the install/uninstall/update buttons are. For some reason my phone also will not go into landscape mode. Up until a few weeks ago I was able to manage my apps from the Play Store on my computer. However they have since updated their web store, and it appears there is no easy way to manage my apps anymore, let alone even find the apps I do use, as they are now listed in alphabetical order with apps from my first android phone(4 years ago).

Basically, I really just need to update and uninstall some apps somehow. Any ideas on how to do this?

Thanks

I think it's time for an upgrade.;)

Apps can be installed by using a browser on a computer and it will allow you to install OTA but that doesn't solve much of your problem. Reading the first couple lines I'm thinking landscape but then I find out that isn't working either.

Do you know where the rock and hard place are? Either side of you. ;)

My contract is up in September. Counting down the days. Just looking for a temporary fix until then[=

Check to make sure auto rotate is still p.m.....settings -> display -> auto rotate....this is for the landscape mode, can't help the rest.

Might also try the hdmi to tv cable to do it there, or a Bluetooth mouse

Sorry for the ramble
