Update app help

My facebook app is running v. 1.32 and v. 1.4 Is out. I have Uninstalled everything I can think of related to the app and it still won't update. Someone help please.

its most likely the theme. i have 928s and i cant install it either.

It does not install the themed fb apk unless u manually do it. So no fb is not themed. Idk, unless it changed directorys or something

I'm rooted, so can I delete everything fb and install a fresh copy from the market? Or is that a bad idea?

Its worth a shot, I think that's what abe did but he said it was kind of a hassle. I would use titanium, back it up and then delete it. That way if you run in to problems you can restore it.

I just deleted via tb...rebooted, installed 1.4 off the market. Works fine...just not in theme anymore.

Ya that'll happen when the themed version was based on the older build. What theme are you running?

Edit: nm just saw in another thread that you were running black glass. If 928 returns anytime soon he'll probably make a fix.
