If you are the owner of the Motorola DROID RAZR HD, the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD and/or the Motorola DROID RAZR M, and have an unlocked bootloader, then you may want to pay attention to this. Supposedly, an insider at Moto revealed the company plans to close the Kernel exploit on these three DROID RAZR models that could unlock the bootloader. A new update will be coming down the pipe soon which will allow the handsets to support the new VMWare app, but it has the side effect of also closing down the bootloader exploit.
This is obviously crappy news for folks who like to tinker with their device; however, it probably won't take long for crafty devs to find a new angle of attack.
