Update message today...

i got a window for an update, 1.70.605.0, it's 73.589 MB but it doesn't say what it is for. anybody got any idea?

I think that's the MR2 update, it started rolling out a little over a week ago.

the MR2 update is the 73mb one. I'm STILL waiting for it and it's driving me crazy. Is there a downloadable one out there that won't wipe your phone?

in order to pull the download you have to force a 1x radio connection. takes a couple hours but it works. i think if you wait for it to hit your phone you can dl over 4G/3G

Why do people keep saying you have to foirce a 1x connection? That is total BS. I forced the update and happened to have a 1x connection because I was inside a concrete building and that was all I could get but the download kept failing. On my way home that night I got into a 3g signal and retried the update and it went like a charm. I could not get it installed under 1x but it went flawless under 3G.

I did have to enter a #*#*some randowm number*#*# code to get the phone to see the update available though.

This is the update i got a few days ago that fixed everything on my phone.
I have yet to try the BT but GPS, Proximity sensor etc was fixed.
Never had the reboot issues so idk if it fixes it but all of the above has been taken cared of.
