Update version 2.2 for Galaxy S - Fascinate

Has anybody done benchmark test with the fascinate on the leaked 2.2 update? If so what kind of difference did you get as apposed to 2.1?

Yeah I got 1053 on quadrant with a custom rom, 2.2 versus the 7 or 8 hundred 2.1 was getting.
 
2100 here with One Click Lag Fix and Rockin' Froyo. Same results from Quadrant for 2.1 and 2.2 for me.

Hi. Not sure if this is where to post this, but i just ran quadrant my plain Jane facinate-2.1 and got 780. After hearing all these numbers i am wondering if there if something wrong with my phone. Please excuse my lack of knowledge as i am still learning all of this.

If I am not mistaken, the faster numbers you are reading about are due to the people 'rooting' their devices, which allows you to make changes on how the device operates...similar to putting a 'chip' in you car to get more performance out of the engine than factory specs... DBV

With stock fascinates the usual number is between 7 to 8 hundred and I'm still bugles by the lag fix with froyo. Did the kernal you Galahad with Odin happen prior to froyo rom?

I am not sure what your question about the kernel means. I still have eclair not froyo. I doing feel comfortable enough to root. i read about some of the things that happen and it sounds foreign to me!
