Any news about this infamous update we are to receive? I'm rooted but I would like to.see.what Samsung has been up to for the past 7 months, and if its good enough keep it on my phone.(PS: battery life with ebo1 is terrible)

I was wondering what the new "supposed" date was myself. It is sad but this phone and Samsung turned a good thing into a joke. I haven't been pushing it too hard lately. Because of the update issue Verizon has agreed to let me upgrade again when I choose without penalty so am waiting color something

Oops. Above post got messed up. Anyway I am just waiting for a new exciting phone to come out. With the "free pass" so to speak buys me some time to think about it. So I am watching but no more Samsung for this Guy. I like this phone too that is what makes it sad.

Oooh No, not another post about 2.2 for this phone. If this phone was released with 2.2, I wonder what the major gripe would be? or would there even be one. I for one am completly satisfied with it's stock functionality.

You would think it's in Verizon's hands now as we've had unofficial Froyo for awhile now. Once it does come out, why would you go back to stock? The DEVs will be creating wonderful roms and under volted kernels to have better battery life.
