***Updated*** Easy Root Available. 3 step process

How do you delete the apps that came with the TB...the bloatware?

Thanks

Get Root Explorer from the Market. Then you can go to /system/app and delete what you want.

I am alittle "wet" behind the ears....how do I go to /systems/app ?

thanks

You might want to consider downloading (purchasing) Titanium Backup.

Rather than DELETING the programs, you can FREEZE them. From what I understand, deleting can cause system problems. If you're going to flash any ROMs, Titanium is invaluable for backing up / restoring all your data.

Ran step 2 and 3 again and it worked like a charm!!

want to give a big shut out to cnmsales!!!

He helped me alot and if it was up to me....I would vote for him to be a mod in here....

Thanks again CNMSALES!!! you are an asset to the DROID community!!

This worked perfectly. I had to do a few of the steps twice because my phone didn't reboot when it was supposed to, but that was no big deal. I'm now fully rooted and loving it!

I see that there is firmware version 1.12.605.9, since I'm on 1.02.00.0103 I'm wondering how I can upgrade..

EDIT: Finally was able to root and the firmware was updated to 1.12.605.9.

I have 1.12.605.6 not 1.12.605.9.....do I need the other one for anything? If not..I would stay with this one...I am rooted...so I do not think it makes a big difference...

also...if I do need the 605.9...how would I install it

Thanks
