Updating gmail

Got a factory reconditioned d2 a few days ago can't get the newest version of Gmail on it. Anyone know how to update it?

D1 or D2? You say D2 but your profile says motorola droid. You should update that so theres no confusion.

Are you rooted? Are your running Ginerbread or Froyo? You need to be rooted in order to update it.

Download the appropriate zip file, and then flash the zip.
