Updating Yahoo contacts

Greetings All ...

I am using Yahoo mail on my Droid Razr but cannot update any information in my contacts list - am presented with a message saying that "Yahoo contact information cannot be updated on this device".
Is this correct?

Perhaps I should move to Gmail?

Thoughts? Advice? Suggestions?
