Upgrade time

Have a d2g im happy with it but it's time to move on.

Was thinking bionic but also the d3. Idk which one to get.

I need an extended battery and a bodyglove case.

What is everyones thoughts on the two phones. I like gingerbread alot and I know there is root for d3. Not sure about bionic.

Main thing is what are known issues with both phones?

Any word on if d3 is replacing the d2g yet in the insurance?

The Bionic has 4g but idk which one has more bugs.

I have the Bionic and my wife has the DROID 3. It really depends what you prefer. The phones are very similar in the interface and both have dual cores, but the real difference is the 4g. The Bionic is blazing fast with the dual core and 4g. I have had no issues with the Bionic at all and think it is an amazing machine. I came from the DX and I am very happy with the upgrade. My wife has had zero issues with hers too.

But, if you read every other post it seems somebody is hating on the bionic because of this and that, but I really think people are waiting to see what happens next week with the new announcement from Samsung. Remember, it is the first dual core 4gLTE phone that Verizon has came out with, which means it will surely do the job until your next yearly/two year upgrade. There is also tons of dev support already for both phones. If, heaven forbid, the next big thing gets delayed for a few extra weeks/months I am willing to bet that there will be alot more people rush to get the Bionic!

There's gonna be people that hate on every phone.. The Bionic has everything I wanted in a phone and than some. So far 2 updates are already scheduled, so I really don't think Motorola is turning a blind eye on the Bionic by any means.
