Upgrading from APEX 1.4.1 to 2.0

I'm running APEX 1.4.1 on Kernel v2.6.32.9-gca645b6. If I want to upgrade to APEX 2.0 what are my required steps? Since it's a move from Android v2.2.1 to 2.3, I'm assuming it won't be as easy as it was going from 1.3 to 1.4.1.
