I remember seeing a post on here about an app or something through your computer that allows you to remote wipe for those people who have not installed any 3rd party apps...... I cant find it now

Someone has my phone and I NEEEEEDDDD my texts deleted, like.... now

I think Lookout Mobile Security is the app you are looking for. But to have this feature you have to pay for it (premium). But, you have to have your phone to install the app on it for it to work. So now that your phone is gone, you're kind of out of luck.

Thats goes with out saying. You usually get a better response by using descriptive titles.

I think you need to search for RSD Lite.

I can't imagine a way that you could do this after your phone has been taken. Everything I know of would have required you to install it beforehand.

Call VZW.....they offered to wipe my wife's when it was stolen. Of course they could have different definitions of "wipe" then we do though.

Rsd lite is for flashing software and only works if you have the phone.

Norton Mobile Security (beta) does remote wipes. I believe they are a sponsor/advertiser on DroidForums.net

if you had not had a chance to install anything on it before the phone was stolen. This app can be used after a phone is lost; you install it via a web interface to your Google account, I believe.

Plan B should help you recovery your phone if it works right. Push it to your phone from the Market....it's free, auto installs, and starts reporting.

This is why I have Where's my Droid, Wavesecure, and Latitude running on my device. I will NOT lose this one.

well, I wasnt able to do a remote wipe, BUT using plan B i was able to find out where my roommate hid my phone (it was at a friend's house) before anyone coud read my texts
