USB Ethernet Compatibility?

Is there a USB Ethernet adapter that'll work? I plan on using an OTG cable to connect it. IIRC Froyo natively doesn't have support, but ICS may. I don't have a problem flashing a ROM as long as it meets my goal and performance doesn't impact that goal.

My intention is to turn this into an IP Cam. The short story is WiFi isn't going to work so I'm hoping I can get a wired solution going.

I'm wondering why the WiFi wouldn't work? It may end up with the same results wired. I do know that there are several USB/Ethernet adapters that work on tablets but never heard of one being tried on a phone. Just wondering.

fyi Belkin makes an $85 (last price I paid) "NetCAM" that works great as an IP camera and I can view them on all my Android devices.
