usb problems

Hey guys everytime i hook my phone to my my computer it restarts it. And the few times it doesnt then it doesnt reconize its connected to the computer. Any ideas how to fix this

I've never heard of that. It sounds like maybe the USB cord is bad. I would replace it, if it's still doing it, then it's the phone and time to take it to Verizon.
