I bought the special Motorola cable so I could connect the DroidX2 to my computer. I followed the rule and connected the wire directly to the PC. I downloaded a Motorola driver and things worked. I copied pictures to the PC.
Two days later it failed. The PC said it it didn't understand it. I downloaded what I thought was a new driver but it still failed.
I tried each option to no avail.
HELP!!!

What driver exactly, what operating system, etc.
So you are saying it worked for a day, then stopped working? Were there any updates applied to the machine, automatic updates perhaps?

Try going to the motorola site and dl the drivers again
