use dinc w/ wifi and/or "ranger extender"

Real novice as will be obvious.
My 3G and 1X signal at home drops out can't be used for minutes at a time. Is this a fringe area weak signal issue?
Would Samsung "Range extender" or wf/fi cure this?
Can I even have a wi/fi link at home if this Dinc is the ONLY access to internat I have?

Reply to my own question! Re WIFI, apparently if u don't have Inet access via something other DINK (cable, land line, whatever) u can't set up a WiFi connection. 2ndly and this is very basic but basic is what we nu Bs need,there two signals involved, one for the phone, i.e. voice and another for data, i.e. 3g signal. The Samsung/verizon range extender apparently works only on the voice signal. It does nothing for the 3G data signal. BUT there are 3rd party signal boosters (amplifiers) that boost the 3G data signal. Actually those I've found boost both. They are expensive! $500! Search for "data signal booster".
