Use SuperOneClick if you lost root due to OTA 2.2.1

I found a fix. Use super one click.

[APP]SuperOneClick v1.5.5 (Root, Unroot, Enable Non-Market App, Get UNLOCK code) - xda-developers

Its done from a computer. Click unroot first if you were previously rooted.
If the program looks like it froze just close it reopen and then click root.
I too lost the root Z4root had given me and this did the trick.

Ota 2.2.1

Superoneclick doesn't seem to work on 2.2.1, I keep getting waiting on device.

Were you previously rooted? If you were click unroot first. Then close the program and click root. I have 2.2.1 and it worked fine

I am trying to fix my GF's phone. Basically, when 2.2.1 pushed out, a bunch of people found that nothing could get superuser permissions. Phone restarts show superuser icon in app drawer, but not in app manager. I tried SuperOneClick, when trying to unroot, it says that superuser is not installed, eventhough I had just installed it from the apk off the sd card. Anyone successfully fix this yet? I'm trying not to have to reflash the os on the phone.
