Using a logo for wallpaper?

I want to use a logo for my wall paper and have it display near the top when the Droid is vertical. I am just not sure how to get it to display right. If i make it large it seems to be too big and I can not see the whole thing. If I make it small it seems to stretch and is also not completely visible.

What is the best way/size to do this?

PhotoShop is your friend (or an equal image-editing program)! Go to the Wallpaper forum and take a look at what size folks are doing the images at--that'll get you on the right path of perfect wallpaper'dom. 960 x 854 is what I do for my stuff.
