Using an old Blackberry Case for Droid2??

I have a leather case with magnet closer that I used for my blackberry storm. My droid2 seems to fit in it. Is it ok to use a case with the magnets? I put it in there, and things started acting strange, ringer volume line came on, screen changed, etc? I like that case and don't really want to buy another one, but don't want to mess up this droid either.

Use a dock blocking app. Magnets are used to put the Droid and Droid2 in the dock modes. Otherwise you'll probably kill your battery.

I kind of lucked out with my blackberry case; the magnet closure was sorta just pinned into the case so it was easy to remove. Then it was just a matter of putting velcro on the flap...
