Using Droid as webcam on computer (GChat)

I'm trying to use my droid as a webcam on Gmail video chat. I tried USB Webcam and IP Webcam, but both didn't work. USB Webcam I tried twice and followed the instructions to a T, however, to no avail. Also, on their website it says that the project is now dead, so I believe it doesn't work any longer. With IP Webcam, under the FAQ, it states that I can't use it with Gmail video chat. Is there any app out there that will allow me to do this via USB?

I apologize if this has been posted here before. I tried searching, but couldn't find anything that helped.
