Using K-9 Email I keep getting null

I keep getting null emails using K-9. Can anyone help?

I am getting that on my Time Warner Roadrunner email account (pop3), but my msn account works better on k9 than the OEM email app.

What kind of account are you having the null problem on?

Although I see others have this same problem, I cannot find anyone who has a solution. On my Droid, on the occasional incoming message, with nothing odd about it and from addresses that on other occasions display properly, the original email program displays correctly but K-9 merely says "null". Presumably it is a bug in K-9, but if so, why doesn't someone produce an update?
