According to What's Next For Android? this is what they were expecting for ICS:

-Automatic privacy screen when browsing pornography
-Valid form of ID in continental US and parts of EU
-Native CueCat support
-Calls your mother on her birthday

The 2 year old Thunderbolt HTC POS is getting it.. But not the Droid X, X2, Droid 2 or 3??? WTF. Verizon playing favorites much? wow.

When did Verizon get into the business of developing operating systems? If HTC wants to put ics on the Thunderbolt, good for them. If Motorola doesn't want to put ics on the phones you listed (2 of which you probably wouldn't want to attempt it on anyway), blame Motorola.

I WENT IN TO VERIZON THE OTHER DAY WHEN MY MICROPHONE WHEN OUT AND WHEN THEY SWITCHED OUT MY PHONE MY FRIEND WHO WORKED THERE TOLD ME THE BIONIC WAS RECIEVING ICS NEXT MONTH .I'm LOOKING FORWARD TO IT BECAUSE ONCE THE UPDATE GOES OUT DEVELOPERS LIKE HASHCODE AND DROID THEORY WILL BE ABLE TO FIX THE FFC AND ALSO PULL THE CAMERA AND DELIVER US CUSTOMIZABLE VANILLA ANDROID ON ONE OF THE BEST PHONES....THE ONLY THING LEFT TO DO WOULD GET THESE BOOTLOADERS UNLOCKED... In a store in Rochester New York. I cant tell if it was just an ICS launcher or something but I doubt the VZW reps would allow one of their demo units to be changed from the default launcher or settings. I have a Gnex so I could tell right away that at least the launcher was ICS. I should have checked the actual settings but I was in a bit of a rush so i forgot :-/

35 miles / 35 MPH = should've been there hours ago! Lol... btw the demo units are subject to other people playing with it! They're not really paying much attention to what people are doing with the demo units. At least that's my experience
