What are you looking for a discount on? Maybe we might be able to send you somewhere other then Verizon to save you some money.

Well, you're not going to have much luck from Verizon. A coupon code won't help. Amazon has them for 100.00 but you still have to pay for data, 30.00 and about the cheapest plan is 40.00. Add all the fees and such and you'll be lucky to come in around $75.00.

I've had them offer me some plans where it's like 50 minutes free and then you pay for extra minutes at around 25.00 but I don't see them available initially. And you still have to pay for Data.

I think there is a company named Cricket that will activate a Droid X for you with Data at around that price or cheaper. I don't know anything about the company itself however.

Arizona State offers 10% off per month for all Alumni. Verizon | ASU Alumni Association

Probably won't help you, but other schools/places of employment might do the same.

if you have a job you may want to see if they offer any corporate discounts.

the discount i get through my girls work is 24% off the entire bill(before taxes) and 25% off phones and accessories.

Lots of companies offer this and the discount varies from company to company. I do believe the maxiumum corp discount is 24%.

the phone itself with contract will cost you well over $100, plus the minute and data plan, and you'll probably want a text plan as well.

Good luck getting that contract for anything less than $70.

I have the same as Garrett's discount at my place of work. 24% off bill and 25% off accessories. Every little bit helps!

A NYS Employee gets 20% off of the bill plus 20% off of the $30.00 data charge. So definitely see what verizon might might give you for your job.

If someone in your family works for the fed just use their email address to qualify.

I work for the Feds and I only get 21 plus 25 on all accessories. I believe the discount is per department within the Federal Government; not for all Fed Employees.

anyone that has new every two can upgrade at 18 months... that not just for federal employees I've been doing it for years even before i got my corp discount.
