Well that was quick! We saw the big news a few days back that the Galaxy Note 3 had been rooted. This spurred developer "BeansTown106" into action. He quickly built and tested the Root De La Vega Root method by "DesignGears" for the Verizon Galaxy S4! The method is super easy. All you need to do is flash a file in Odin, boot into Android and place some files on your internal sdcard, reboot, remove those files from your internal sdcard, reboot again and enjoy your freshly rooted MI1 build on your Verizon Galaxy S4.

Accepting OTA updates has always been a no no in the root world, but we have really lucked out here with the software in the Note 3 and the S4 being similar enough to translate the new root method from one phone to the other. Don't worry about loosing safestrap here either, it is still working just as it was before the update!

NOTE: If your Galaxy S4 is still LOKI Bootloader Hacked DO NOT ACCEPT THE MI1 UPDATE!!!! As you will loose your Loki Hacked Bootloader! Otherwise head to the link below for the files you need.
