Verizon Games for other phones on the Droid(Resident Evil)

My buddy has the samsung rogue which has resident evil on it. The game is suprisingly fun. Can I get the verizon games for other phones to work on the droid or can I only buy the games in the market?

No its not in the market, there are a bunch of games that regular phones can download but do not show in the android market. I want to know if we can download these games from verizon games and not the market place games.

im getting a droid tomarrow:noupstoday01: and im also wondering the samething. after learning about the market place and alot about the droid in prep for getting it in the mail, ive done numerous google searches and searched this forum for the answer to this question. i havent found anything and if were not able to buy basic normal games from verizon, then that really dissapoints me. to find out my env3(current phone) can play games far faaaar beyond what my new droid can(free or not) is a huge dissapointment. :(

please can anyone show me if its possible to DL games for other phones, peggle, dragon age, bioshock, oblivion anything. these app games are really bad honestly. im excited about the emulators, but for a 600$ top of the line phone...i expect to get top of the line games.

something doesnt feel right here, i bought this phone as it was verizon competitor to the iphone. but the apps seem risky, the games have no support almost from third parties, my contacts are in a "cloud" apparently. oh man im feeling buyers remorse before i even get my phone. somebody help me out, maybe i just havent done enough research, or maybe i did too much....

why all of a sudden do i feel like i just went backwards in tech when i know darn well i payed to go forward

All the other verizon games are coded in BREW. I would think porting them would be something no one wants to do.
Good news though is I don't see too many more games going to BREW. Verizon mandates that all BREW games pass a quality test that companies have to pay for (and if they fail, they get no feedback and have to resubmit and repay the testing fee). Also most of these companies have fallen on hard times right now and have for the most part stopped producing BREW applications altogether. Even Qualcomm has relegated BREW to quick messaging devices.

Rest assured, you will find plenty to keep you busy with your new phone.
50 games for Android (and you know more will be coming as time goes on)

Beyond gaming there are other useful apps, apps to customize your phone, and all sorts of other cool things.

Risky apps? I haven't destroyed my phone yet. If you don't like an app just uninstall it. If you don't like one you payed for then uninstall it within 24 hours and get a full refund, no questions asked. Hard to see the risk there:)

I think you're jumping the gun a little bit. I've found so many more innovative and unique games for the Droid than I ever was able to find with Verizon. Not to mention that almost every game has a lite version that allows you to test it out before you commit to buy (and as mentioned above, even if you buy you can return in 24 hours for a full refund).

True, the third party support for games isn't there yet, but it's coming. This is a new device and the Droid is the first extremely popular Android phone so far. The 3rd party developers are coming, guaranteed. Without them though, you have people who are working everyday to make great products and most of them actually listen to feedback and make changes to correct problems. It's quite amazing, actually.

i hope some great games are right around the corner. More devs need to get their hands on the droid and make some more games with the quality of homerun3d which is cross compatible with the iphone/itouch which is great cause i can play against my fiancee i hope google pushes out a multitouch sdk so game developers can make some truly better games

I really wish they would port these games for droid. I guess this is one thing that droid don't. But I still love my droid even though I'm disappointed. But hey at least we have emulators
