Verizon gives us clues as to LTE network expansion: Yay NFL!

If your a Verizon fan (and I know you are!) and your a football fan (and I hope you are!) then do we have some good news for you. As we've seen previously, Verizon has talked about turning up their LTE network in multiple cities. We've had a few nuggets here or there as to which cities this might be, but nothing concrete. Fortunately, Verizon let loose that they will be turning up "30" NFL cities. Engadget broke the news earlier and they've suggested that Green Bay likely won't be one of those cities, so that knows us down to 31 potential areas (there are 32 NFL teams) -- We also have overlap with the NY Jets and NY Football Giants.

Things are looking pretty if your a Verizon fan or an NFL fan, add in DirecTV and we've got integration and connection like we've never had before.

So if service rolls out by the year end, when would we start seeing phones? I'm due for an upgrade next month, but wouldn't want to wait past November to get a new phone because my old one is dying.

Sorry to rant her but as someone from the Green Bay area WTF!!! We get screwed by every major company out in northern WI. I can't get cable only Directv. No ISP's in the area. I have to use a mobile broad band usb to get internet at all. My Verizon coverage is awesome far far better than any other company. I wish they would step up and see how much we would appreciate it. Just cause we farm and live rural lives doesn't mean we aren't into tech stuff. Its not 1953 anymore we have phones and PS3's some of us even have computing machines!! (believe it or not)

Well what sucks about this is that I no longer Live and Tampa and can't get the games. If I lived near Tampa I wouldn't need LTE to watch the games!! ARRRGGGHHH!

Just my rant, but for you guys in those areas keep the rest of us posted on how SICK it is!
