Owners of the Verizon version of the LG G Pad X8.3 might be pleasantly surprised by their latest update notification. This isn't some minor security or bug fix, but is the full Android 6 Marshmallow software version to VK81522A. Here's a recap of the usual Marshmallow features highlighted with this update:
  • Now on Tap
  • Runtime permissions
  • Do not disturb and silent mode
  • Direct Share
  • Screenshot deleting
  • Control over peeking notifications
Don't panic if you haven't received the update just yet. It will likely roll out in batches, so you will just need to wait patiently for your turn.

Specifically, are we talking about the VK810 4G model?

I think it is the VK815 (not VK810) that's getting MM. *sigh*

It's the vk815. I got the update earlier. Now I wish my Droid Turbo would get some M.

My VK815 has yet to get it but that's OK. After coming from a 1st generation Kindle Fire to a Verizon Ellipsis 8...even on Lollipop this is a fantastic little tablet.
