Verizon is really working hard to cover America with their LTE network because already they're 11 cities away from their 2011 goal with 3 months to spare. Last week Verizon turned on their blazing fast 4G network in a few more cities, and expended covered to three other cities.

The cities that should now have incredibly fast 4G speeds is as followed:

  • Green Bay, WI
  • Bloomington, IN
  • Bedford, IN
  • Mitchell, IN
  • Evansville, IN
  • Birmingham, AL
  • Albuquerque, NM
  • Santa Fe, NM
  • Terre Haute, IN
  • South Bend, IN
  • Mishawaka, IN
  • Elkhart, IN
  • Goshen, IN
  • Sioux City, IA
  • Buffalo, NY
  • Niagara, NY
  • Modesto, CA
  • Stockton, CA
Expanded markets:
  • Greater Erie, PA
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • San Diego, CA
Anyone in these cities now enjoying the best pleasure in life? Verizon 4G.

Those cities are slated to go live October 20-21. Not immediately.

Snow02,
Thanks for the info. It is appreciated. I will look for it in a month or so. Good looking out

Still no Kansas City. I wonder how much Sprint paid Verizon to delay putting 4G LTE in the Kansas City area. Our airport is the only place you can get 4G.

Let me know when there is a press release for Birmingham as in what cities will be covered around Birmingham when it gets turned on.thanks.

Downtown Kalamazoo, MI has had 4G LTE for a little while now, but it was 'official' last week.

HOLY :censored:, Modesto CA finally has 4G. Now, I just need a 4G phone. Wonder if it reaches to where I live, just outside Modesto. Will have to check with my wife's phone.

will check evansville this weekend :)

HAH Buffalo and Niagara! Anyone know how far the LTE goes outside the cities? like to suburbs and such or is the range limited to only the cities themselves?

El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM both went 4G on Sept. 15th My wife is happy!:icon_ banana: She's got a Thunderbolt 4G. I'm still with my DROID-X.

Wonder if it is permanent or just testing. Just 3g down here in Clanton so guess I will get to play with it when we get groceries on the weekends in Calera.
