Verizon customers with a burning desire to get a 2013 Edition Nexus 7 with 4G LTE will now have that chance. Just as we reported a couple days ago, Verizon made the 4G LTE version of the device available on their network.

If you buy the device directly from the Google Play Store to use on Verizon's LTE service, it will cost you $349.99. If you order from Verizon and get a new two-year contract, you can knock $100 bucks off of that for a total of $249.99. There was a big stink about this device on Verizon when it launched in the Fall of last year. Verizon refused to accept it on their network, claiming that it wasn't compliant with their network security and regulations. Many customers complained about this, and made the claim that it violated FCC rules related to the C-block auction agreement.

Ultimately, not much was done about it, and now over half a year later Verizon releases a fully "vetted" version when most people have either moved on or found alternate solutions.

At any rate, here's the Verizon link in case there are folks still interested: Set Your Location
