Verizon preordering!....at least where i live

yesterday i went to the mall to preorder the droid x from bestbuy mobile, but no luck, as i was walking out I saw a droid x preorder sign outside of the verizon booth. I put my preorder in, and will get mines on release. They indeed are preordering where i live. I live in Houston, Tx.

It's not corporate policy to take pre-orders for the Droid. Sounds like a non corp store just drumming up business.

our local stores are doing the same thing. they said there is being very few offered to there chain of stores in the surrounding area like 20 Droid X's for like 10 stores the reason we have to preorder is to be sure we get one on the release date because there isn't many. I get mine on the 15th dancedroid
