Tomorrow Verizon is scheduled to release an OTA update for the HTC One M8. This update will add EYE software that was announced at the DesireEYE launch. This new software will enable some new settings in the camera app that will allow for simultaneous shooting from both front and rear facing cameras, face tracking for up to four faces, improved selfies, and crop me in options. This update is available to T-mobile users as of last night. Verizon can expect this update to roll out starting tomorrow afternoon.
If you have yet to s-off your HTC One M8 now would be the time. This update will patch the exploit that SunShine S-off uses to unlock the bootloader and S-Off the device. If you care anything about roms and mods on your device you will want to go ahead and grab the Sunshine S-off app from the link below.
