I'm gonna run the numbers with our 2 lines. We don't use all of our 8GB or whatever plan we're on, but if the price isn't much different, I'll gladly take throttling beyond what we already don't use.
is this 80 PER line... or 80 for the entire plan? cause.... if this is legit it may be what I've been looking for... might actually save me money finally.

It's confusing. The article I read on it said something like $80 ($45 per line for a family of 4), so idk if that's $80 for an individual & $180 for a family of 4, or what.
^good point made. Verizon spent all this time kicking people off their unlimited data plan because of the impact it was having for other customers. After getting them off they then offer it again.

Throttling, at 3G or [gasp] Edge, is effectively a 23GB plan with no overages. So very different.
Interesting question on 5G. I certainly don't expect any gifts. I've always said they know people pay $100+ a month for cable and home broadband, so any truly "unlimited plan" would have to add $100 (maybe shared, if we're lucky).
Before taxes and etc, our two lines was going to be $110 on the unlimited plan, VS. the $54 or so that we pay now before taxes/etc. Our bill is over $100 already when all is said and done (and with the payment plan for my wife's phone).
Definitely not worth it for us since we don't even use all of the data we have each month.
Employer discounts also can't be applied to the new plan. We've got one through my wife's employer.
