Verizon will drop DNA

Just read on Gottabemobile.com that VZW has signed up for the HTC One, and will be dropping the DNA. Watch for drastic price drops on DNA.
Wirefly has it for 75% off, Dell for $69.

Please provide a valid source that states Verizon will actually be dropping the DNA. I have searched and found nothing that validates that. All I have found is that Verizon MAY be getting the One anywhere from 2-4 months from now. If and when that happens then the DNA should still be sold but at a lower price point. Also, Verizon may call it the One or something else like DNA2. All of this is totally normal in the Android phone market. Right now is a good time to buy the DNA since it can be bought for less than $100 on some sites.

Thank you for the link. I couldn't find that when I was searching gottabemobile's site. Keep in mind that it only says WalMart might replace the DNA with the One, not that Verizon will. The title to this thread is misleading. Even if Verizon gets the One it should still carry the DNA for a while. Wal Mart is known for carrying a very limited # of phones, far fewer than Verizon or Best Buy for example. Which would explain why WalMart would choose between carrying the One over the DNA.

The above link from VZW web site confirms the One, and all you have to do is shop for the DNA on web, with up to 75% off, its days r numbered.

The link above from VZW blog, contains very good evidence that big red already had the One, testing stage back early part if this yr. They may release it by 3/25.

yeh the dna will eventually be replaced by the dlx+ eventually... just like the droid razr with the maxx and then the hd versions of both phones. it is eventual with all cell phones. i replace mine like once every year and a half. heck the droid 4 with gb was new a year ago lol...

Is there any newER news yet on the One (or a variant) for VZW? I have an upgrade coming in May, and am seriously looking at the DNA or the RAZR MAXX HD.

Sure would like to see into the future a bit, know what's coming between now and then.
