Vibrate and sounds turned off simultaneously

How do I turn off the vibrate function and sound function simultaneously? Hate turning my phone off during class but it vibrates so loudly I don't have much of a choice. Is there an app for this or is there something already on the phone that will do it.

My friend showed me and I think its settings and vibrate never under general I think worth a shot I guess

Beautiful Widgets has a widget that will completely silence the phone, put it in vibrate, or a timed silence (i.e. 1hr, 2hrs, 6hrs, etc......). Its what I use at night time and when I don't want to be disturbed.
