vibrate for texts

I cannot make my phone vibrate when I receive text messages. I have tried linking my notification sounds with my ringer and using sound manager, but neither do anything. Is there a way to fix this?

To make it vibrate for texts

Go into your message screen, press the menu button (three horizontal lines button) on the frame of the phone, press more, go into settings, check the vibrate for texts box. Confirm that there is a red check mark into the box. There you go. Thanks to my girlfriend, after her investigation my phone can finally vibrate for txts.
