Vibrate?

how can i make my phone vibrate when i receive a notification like a text message. i went into the settings and its checked to vibrate but it still isnt vibrating. any ideas?

I had this same problem on this phone and the Moto Droid. It fixed both, and you can remove the app after getting the vibrate for notifications working again.

Did you change the settings on the app or phone? If you are using the stock app, open tap menu, tap settings, scroll down to Notifications, tap Notifications, tap notifications settings, tap vibrate.

i have the incredible and cant find notifications under settings

Sorry, I missed that. I've not used an Incredible but my sense is the app will work the same way.
