Vibrator App Question

The vibration of the droid 2 is not very intense and I miss a lot of calls or txt messages. So I downloaded the Smart Vibrator App and I cant get it to work. I set up the incoming call and SMS pattern but I cant get it to work. Is there something in the phone settings I need to do in order for the app to function?

Are you using a rubber case? in my expiriences rubber cases kinda dull the vibration, find yourself a hard cover and it could possibly amplify the vibration just a tad bit.

there used to be an app called dilldroid you could set the phone to vibrate at different speeds and then sent them to people as long as they had the app installed kind of dumb but still amusing.
