Video calling apps

There's a leaked .apk of Skype Mobile that allows video calling over 3G/ 4G. Just google "leaked skype mobile for Thunderbolt" and you'll find mirror sites all over. I got mine going today and it works great.

I have been looking on the Skype website and in the market. Found one at media fire that seems to work. Thanks for the tip!

It uses data when making skype to skype calls. Skype warns you when installing that you should have a data plan before starting because it uses so much. So for Verizon, the unlimited data package is the best way to go.

It allows you to buy credits for calling a phone number through skype but you will charged minutes for calling a phone number through skype regardless of if you have the credits or not. I don't have credits so I'm not sure if you need them to make a phone call through skype.

Hope that helps.

ok thanks so i assume that tango and yahoo IM just uses data also just dont want to burn minutes for it or if i do want to know lol
