If you purchased the developer edition of the RAZR HD from Motorola you are probably ready to unlock the bootloader and get on with flashing Roms and mods! The procedure is pretty simple. You should be comfortable with ADB, and know how to follow simple instructions. Before following the above guide you should consider the following, Unlocking the bootloader WILL void your warranty. This means if anything goes wrong in the first year, even hardware issues, you will not be covered under the warranty. Also it should be noted that this process will wipe all data so you will want to be sure to back up anything that is important to you (IE photos of the kids ect).
