Video Playback glitch with the Gallery

So today on lunch at work I'm watching a vid file on my Droid like usual and previously no problems.

Now today as I watched it, the control bar for the Gallery kept appearing and disappearing over and over again despite the Droid just sitting on my desk. This kept on and on and when I tried to shut off the program I couldn't and when I finally exited out, other menus and programs started trying to turn on. Rebooted phone twice and reconnected battery and rebooted phone again and the problem continues.

Any ideas?

Any ideas? I'm thinking of having Verizon reinstall the firmware.
