Videos no longer play

Tab S 10.5 no longer plays videos. One video error message came up saying it needed Flash Player. No flash player for Android 4.0.x and higher. Really not sure what changed.

Are they local videos or WEB videos? In either case what app are you using and what is the format of the video?

Chrome app streaming videos on Facebook. I don't have any videos on the unit, but could record one if that will help.

I'm guessing you mean the Chrome browser and that you aren't using the Facebook app. Try installing Puffin Browser and see if that makes a difference.

There have been all types of issues with Chrome, excessive battery drain being one of the biggest. Most of those FB videos shouldn't need Flash. You may also want to try Dolphin Browser.

Dolphin will prompt you to download and install Flash Player when you go to a site that needs it.
