I use Lookout. It is free in the market and even though it is a "virus scanner" what I like is that it lets me back up all my contacts and pictures etc on my lookout online. It offers a scream feature where if you miss place your phone you can go online and make your phone scream so you can locate it. If you lose or someone takes your phone you can go to the website and wipe your phone. It will erase all your contacts, pics, files, etc so nobody gets your information. Remember you can put it back because it is all backed up on the website. They can also locate your phone with the GPS. So far I have been using it since I got my phone on the release date and I have not had any problems. Oh, as for backing up it is synced so every new contact or media is automatically backed up. You don't have to do it manually. HTH
