With more and more content being made available for Viirtual Reality all the time VR may soon become a viable means for entertainment. For now most VR gear is too expensive to justify the purchase. Google Cardboard seeks to be the gap device. It is super cheap and gives you a somewhat similar experience to those fancy VR headsets.

Last week a developer came up with a way to play old school virtual boy games on the Google Cardboard. Now you can actually play HTC Vive and Oculus games on the Cardboard. You will need the VRidge app for this to work. For now the software is beta so their will likely be some bugs as the kinks are worked out. Still it would be interesting to see what all the VR gaming fuss is about.
